Frequently Asked Questions
Do you supply alcohol?
How many people can you serve?
How many do you have in mind? But in all seriousness with a four tap draft system, a couple of extra talented 'drink slingers' and a few gorgeous satelite bars, the sky is the limit! Glenda herself with the two bartenders included in every package are comfortable serving up to 200 people, more bartenders means more people can be accomodated. Roy has a maximum of 150 guests that he is comfortable getting drinks out to! Depending on the service level you would like we may require a coupe extra sets of hands to keep everything running smoothly.
How big are Glenda and Roy?
Glenda is 15ft long, 7 ft wide and 8ft tall, Roy is 13ft long, 7 ft wide and 9 ft talll. Small enough to fit into most backyards, large enough to fit us! Neither are a huge fan of stairs and they do need a clear level spot to rest for the event. If you have any concerns about the location you have in mind, please don't hesitate to get in touch and we can try to make it work.

Don't see your question?
Send us an email at travellingtowbar@gmail.com, chat with us about an idea you have, make an entire event around your favourite beverage, describe an event you want to make come to life! Thats the stuff we love to do, after all, we made this bar out of a beat up old trailer that we didnt think would make the drive home.
How much does an event cost?
Our services typically range from $1200.00 to $4,000.00 without alcohol included for events with between 50 and 400 people. We do realise no one event is ever the same and our prices do reflect that. For a free custom quote for your event, just fill out our online form on our GET A QUOTE page. Or if you'd like us for a smaller intimate event, photo shoot, promotional event or "just because", please don't hesitate to email us at travellingtowbar@gmail.com. It's free, we love hearing from you, and we can work with you to make your vision come true at a price that makes sense.
Do I need to get a Special Occasions Permit (SOP)?
You will need to get a Special Occasions Permit (SOP) only if you are holding your event on public property (E.g. Town Hall, Church, Event Venue, etc.). If you are holding the event on private property (E.g. Backyard, Cabin, Property, Farm, etc.) a SOP is not required. For more information and to apply online, please visit https://www.agco.ca/alcohol/special-occasion-permits-private-event. We are always happy to help with the application process if needed!
